Faith

I would start this post with a small little story.

There was a man who had no faith in GOD.He was an athiest and did not believe in GOD and boasted about it too. He had a big board in his room saying
'GOD IS NO WHERE'.

Once he was sick and feeling very low as he lost his job and things were not going well in his life. From somewhere the thought of GOD entered his mind and to shun it he looked at the board. He read it as
'GOD IS NOW HERE'. He just could not stop thinking about GOD after that and started having faith in Him and prayed to him for a happier life.

It happens many times in our lives that we get too busy in this materialistic world and get caught on by the jazzy adverstisement and products which make us feel ever dissatisfied, that we forget to thank Him and remember Him which would make us more content and happy. Faith can make miracles happen!!!Scientifically it may be becoz faith creates focused concentration!!!

Have Faith and things will surely work for you, since then you will make it work.

Delve in the lyrics of this famous song

FAITH
Have faith in the face of uncertainty
Have faith in the face of dread
‘Cause life is only made up of this one
Fleeting moment that you are
You are the happy childhood
You are the pearl and the shooting star
So will away the rubble that will bury you alive
And conjure back the memory of the womb inside
Flame in the face of infinity
Burn your flame in the face of space-
The vastness that will swallow you alive
‘Cause the inner-fire burns from hand to hand
and does not die
Leaping and sleeping through generations’ eye
Like a read, silk scarf
Trailing form the neck of a woman running downhill into the fray
Like a dream of beauty passed down and down like a legacy
Reach for your dreams
With every, dazzling moment of each step that you have
Claim your life
And the bucket of sand at your core, like an hourglass
Experience creation in its vast expanse:
The movements of the planets, the animals and plants
You’re a fleeting piece of meat that matters in its dance
Have faith; you are the conjurer
Have faith; you are the weaver
Have faith; you are the spinner of the beauty dream
And your fire lasts forever
And your movement never stops
And your happy child hood is now.

Love

Hi,

I hope everyone out there is having a good time with their loved ones.Love can be hard but one should surely experience it, since it can make u do the impossible,to achieve unimaginable feats and take you somewhere, where it is a bliss .I think thats the closest we can get to God, while being alive.

As it is said .

'It is better to have loved and lost rather than not have loved at all.'

This is the most blessed and powerful feeling/emotion that we have been given by Him.
Spread the love!!!!!It will go a full circle and come back to you.

P.S : I got the motivation to write today after reading the posting on spiritualthingsmatter.com . Thanks Viola!!!!

with love for one and all

God

I had read the saying on my Dad's diary,

'God helps those who help themselves!!'

I heard another one today,

'God does not work for you, God works with you !!'

Both are similar, yet quite different and so true.

Think about it and let God guide you on their meaning.

something to remember

We all need to remember this...

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, " I want you to recognize t hat this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things - God, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions -- things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car.

The sand is everything else -- the small stuff.”

"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.”

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.

Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups.

Take your partner out to dinner.

Play another 18.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

Take care of the golf balls first -- the things that really matter.

Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."
